Cancel Your Subscription
Cancelling a paid MultiCartAPI subscription is self-serve and takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you are never cut off mid-cycle. Until that date your plan, credits, and API access remain exactly as they are.
Before you cancel
Check how many credits you have remaining and when your period ends on the Account & Billing page. If you have a large unused balance, consider spending it down before the period closes — unused credits are not refunded and are not carried over to the free Starter plan.

- Open Account & Billing from the sidebar.
- Locate the Current plan card and click Cancel subscription.
- The cancellation modal appears. Read the bullet list — it confirms what will happen and when.
- Tick the acknowledgement checkbox to confirm you understand the terms.
- Click Yes, cancel my subscription.
Your subscription is cancelled immediately on PayPal's side, and you will receive a cancellation confirmation email. However, the plan change to Starter does not apply until your current period ends.
What happens next

| At period_end | Your account automatically reverts to the free Starter plan (500 lifetime credits, no monthly renewal). |
The Starter plan's 500-credit lifetime grant is not re-issued at reversion — it was granted once at signup. If you have already spent those 500 credits, your available balance will be whatever is left from your paid plan at the moment the switch happens.
No refunds for the current period
No refunds and no credit carryover
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. The subscription fee for the period already in progress is non-refundable. Any unused credits remaining when the period ends are forfeited — they do not carry over to the Starter plan.

Cancelled via PayPal directly
If you cancel from inside your PayPal account rather than through the MultiCartAPI dashboard, PayPal sends a cancellation webhook to MCA automatically. The same end-of-period transition applies — access and credits continue until period_end, then the account reverts to Starter.
Resubscribing after cancellation
You can upgrade to a paid plan again at any time from Account & Billing → Change plan. A new billing cycle starts immediately and fresh credits are granted on first payment. See Upgrade your plan for details.
